The CB system is based on the IEC (International Electronics Council) standard, and the CB mark means that the manufacturer’s electrical and electronic products have been tested by the International Certification Body (NCB). CB certificate and test report are recognized by NCB of IEC member countries. Within the same scope of NCB, manufacturers do not need to go to the certification bodies of various countries to certify the same products repeatedly, which can save the cost and time of certification. For example, for a manufacturer who has obtained a CB test certificate, he wants to export to the United States and Europe, but also needs to apply for UL and GS certification. He submits the test certificate and report. According to the regulations of the CB system, UL and GS will only charge a small surcharge, and most of the terms do not require additional testing. NCB is also required to complete within a limited time. This manufacturer can obtain UL and GS certificates with very little time and money. So far, 31 member states have joined the CB organization. They are: United States (UL), Germany (GS, VDE), Canada (CSA), China (CCEE), France (UTE), United Kingdom (BS), Russia (GOAT) ), Italy (IMQ), Japan (JET), Spain (AEE), Finland (FIMKO), Austria (OVE), Australia (SAA), Belgium (CEBEC), Singapore (SISIR), Switzerland (SEV), Czech Republic (Elektrotechnicky) zhusebni ustav), Denmark (DEMKO), Greece (ELOT), Hungary (MEEI), Ireland (NSAI), Israel (SII), India (BIS), Iceland (RER), North Korea (Katiech), Netherlands (KEMA), Norway ( NEMKO), Poland (PCBC), Sweden (SENKO), Slovenia (SIQ), Yugoslavia (FIS). One thing to be pointed out is that it does not mean that after passing the NCB certification, you can freely change the certification within each country. Because some terms are very different and very different in various standards, such as the power grid in the United States is 110V, and Europe uses 230V. Therefore, when renewing the certificate, you still need to do some tests for the certification, and pay a small test fee (generally no more than 5% to 10% of the test fee) and certificate fee.
